I am Anup Aryal, a mechanical engineer and Digital SAT Math educator. My work has moved between engineering projects, quantitative thinking, teaching, and assessment design. Different rooms, different problems, but the same habit: understand what is not working and build a clearer way forward.

Engineering taught me to think in systems, constraints, cost, execution, and consequences. Teaching taught me that even the best solution is useless if it cannot be understood.
This site brings both sides together: the projects I have worked on, the students I have taught, the problems I like to design and solve, and the professional work I want to keep building.

I am less interested in the wrong answer than in what produced it.
A mistake is useful data. If I know why a student chose the wrong path, I know what the next lesson should do.
